Garden Tilling Services

We specializing in tilling small to medium sized gardens and flower beds, up to 1/16 of an acre (70ft x 40ft), for a flat fee of $50. This is an exceptional value considering the rental of a garden tiller cost on average ~$45 per hour with a 2 hour minimum, plus you must replace the gas you use, and you have to pick up & return the tiller. With our service, we take ALL the hassles out of tilling.

If you have a garden or flower bed larger than 1/4 acre we can help! We till large gardens every spring and fall at very reasonable prices. For $150 we will till an existing garden up to a 1/4 acre. If it's a new garden (untilled soil) we charge slightly more ($100 for 1/8 acre or less and $200 for 1/8 to 1/4 acre) because it takes longer as we must make a few additional passes to break up the soil and prepare it for planting. If the area you need tilled is larger than 1/4 acre please contact us for a quote.

We are also very knowledgable about gardening and are happy to share our tips and tricks with you. Feel free to ask us any of your gardening questions.

Benefits of Aerating
We also aerate yards (yard aeration) as well. Did you know, lawn aeration is the secret to making and keeping your lawn healthy? Aeration cuts holes in the soil either by pushing a rod into it or by "coring", which extracts a plug of soil. By aerating you provide the following benefits to your lawn and its root system:
  • Oxygen gets to the roots allowing them to "breathe"
  • Organic fertilizers and nutrients have better access to the root system
  • Water is able to soak the soil deeper and reach the root system easier
  • Helps break up thick thatch
  • Tight, compacted soil is loosened allowing the roots to grow
