We also aerate yards (yard aeration) as well. Did you know, lawn aeration is the secret to making and keeping your lawn healthy? Aeration cuts holes in the soil either by pushing a rod into it or by "coring", which extracts a plug of soil. By aerating you provide the following benefits to your lawn and its root system:

There are many benefits to tilling your garden including; unpacking the soil, breaking up clumps that formed during the off season, thoroughly mixing in compost, and tilling under last year’s garden (helps replace lost nutrients and minerals). The loosened soil will also help promote better air penetration. Typically, the best producing gardens begin with fall soil preparation, which is, tilling the garden in September or October. (Note: Leave the existing plants and let us till them under). Then, one to two weeks before you are ready to plant in the spring, till the garden again. This prepares the soil for planting and allows you to work the soil into rows or mounds with minimal effort.
